Loden is a soft and durable fabric 80% wool 20% Alpaca and waterproof . It is also windproof and generally used for outerwear . The history of Loden started its history in Austria and favoured by the European hunters and outdoor adventures . The cloth is woven in Austria and the vest is manufactured in England . It has a Alcantara recoil pad on each shoulder to benefit a right or left hand shot . Alcantara is a man made fibre which imitates suede but is washable and dry cleanable. There are two bellow pockets for cartridges . The Loden vest matches the Loden Breeks in the collection to create a coordinated shooting outfit .
